God's Plan for Your Protection

By Stacy Mal

If you’re paying attention, the world seems to get less and less stable every day. There are threats of plagues, wars, economic collapse, cyber-attacks, social unrest, and natural disasters. If you’re human, the tendency to fear is real. You’re asking questions like ‘what if?’ You’re laying awake at night. You’re crying out in prayer.

The Lord tells us “Do not fear,” but how is that possible? How do you put fear to rest when the world seems like it’s slipped off its axis? Yes, we must trust God. Yes, we must have faith. But I think there’s more to it. I think our trust and faith need to be strengthened by understanding and preparation.

Hear me out.

God didn’t just say “Do not fear” and then leave us to wonder, clueless. No. He told us not to fear but He also told us how to prepare. He told us what WE can do, and what HE will do.

“Surely, the Lord God does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants, the prophets.” (Amos 3:7) We see a clear example of this in the book of Genesis, chapter six.

“Noah was a righteous man…” but “God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So, God said to Noah, ‘I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.” (Gen. 6:9, 12-13)

Then the Lord told Noah how to prepare for this event so that he and his family would be protected.

He gave Noah detailed instructions on how to build an ark. And I’m guessing as the world got more and more corrupt, and especially when the rain began to fall, Noah was able to trust God much easier because he knew that he had done what the Lord instructed.

Noah knew the Lord revealed the storm and the ark to him because his family was chosen. God wanted to protect them. What kind of God would He be if He warned Noah of the flood, told him to build an ark, and then sank it and let them drown?

Noah knew God’s warning was a way of helping him and his family ahead of time. So, he did not fear.

Likewise, you are reading this right now because you and your family are chosen to be part of the remnant faithful, and God wants to protect you. But understand: God didn’t drop an ark down in Noah’s front yard. He asked Noah to do his part, to do as He instructed—and He’s asking the same of you, too.

Noah had to first show his faithfulness to God and then God showed His faithfulness to Noah. Noah could have chosen not to build the ark. After all, he probably took a lot of persecution from neighbors who thought he was crazy building an boat in the desert. But would Noah and his family still have been saved if he didn’t build it? I don’t know. I’m inclined to think no.

Either way, God has revealed to your heart the battles and tribulation that approach us – not to scare you, friend, but to help you. Consider this your Noah moment. Like Noah, you have a choice to make. You can do nothing and continue to stress… or you can heed the Lord’s warning and begin to prepare as He has instructed—even if your neighbors think you’re nuts.

To help you prepare for the times ahead, I have organized what I believe is God’s 6-part battle plan, available right here on this website. I’m hoping as you begin to implement it you will also begin to feel how much God loves you that He would reach out to you in much the same way as He did Noah.

The Battle Plan

It's important to remember that our enemies in these current battles are not people; they are the unseen forces of evil that attack and tempt us to abandon God's will. As part of the Militia of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are called to follow our Commander-in-Chief Jesus Christ, Mary's Son. She says to us, as she said at Cana, "Do whatever He tells you." (John 2:5)

Jesus and Mary have given us a detailed battle plan. Jesus preached of it while on earth. The Holy Spirit spoke of it in the Scriptures. Mary, too, has spoken of it for centuries in the numerous messages she's given visionaries across the globe.

Ephesians 6:10-18

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.  Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.  In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;  and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication."

6-Parts of the Plan

St. Paul speaks to the Ephesians about the armor of God and mentions six components: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of readiness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. It is from these that we get the 6-part battle plan below.

6-Pt Battle Plan

Why a Multi-Part Battle Plan?

On June 7, 1986, the Virgin Mary appeared to Fr. Stefano Gobbi, and told him:

"In these times, you all need to hasten to take shelter in the refuge of my Immaculate Heart, because grave threats of evil are hanging over you. These are first of all evils of a spiritual order, which can harm the supernatural life of your souls… There are evils of a physical order, such as infirmity, disasters, accidents, droughts, earthquakes, and incurable diseases which are spreading about… There are evils of a social order… To be protected from all these evils, I invite you to place yourselves under shelter in the safe refuge of my Immaculate Heart."
